These Terms of Use govern your use of the Hammer Digital Works website and Hammer software. By using Hammer software or this website, you agree to these terms.

Hammer software is built to solve useful problems. You are responsible for how you use it, the files and systems you use it with, and complying with applicable law.
1. Hammer Digital Works
Hammer Digital Works develops software, utilities, and digital products, including Hammer Stego and other applications in the Hammer software family.
These Terms apply to the Hammer Digital Works website and to Hammer software unless a particular product is provided with separate terms or a separate license agreement.
2. Permitted Use
You may use Hammer software for lawful personal, professional, educational, administrative, and other legitimate purposes consistent with the software's intended functionality.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Hammer software complies with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, organizational policies, and the rights of others.
3. Unauthorized or Unlawful Use
Hammer Digital Works does not authorize the use of its software to unlawfully access systems, interfere with systems or data, violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others, distribute unlawful material, or engage in other unlawful activity.
The availability of a feature does not grant permission to use that feature against systems, accounts, networks, files, or information that you do not own or are not authorized to use.
4. Hammer Stego
Hammer Stego is designed to hide and extract information within supported image files and may provide password-based protection for hidden information.
Steganography can conceal the presence of information, but no steganographic method should be considered guaranteed to be undetectable.
Image modification, recompression, conversion, cropping, resizing, platform processing, file corruption, or other changes may damage or destroy hidden information.
Users should maintain independent copies of important original files and information.
5. Passwords and Protected Information
You are responsible for remembering and protecting passwords used with Hammer software.
Hammer Digital Works cannot guarantee recovery of information when a required password is forgotten, lost, or unavailable.
Do not rely on Hammer software as the only copy or backup of important information.
6. Your Files and Content
You retain responsibility for files, information, and other content that you process using Hammer software.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right and authorization to use, modify, analyze, delete, or otherwise process that content.
7. Software Availability and Updates
Hammer Digital Works may update, improve, modify, replace, or discontinue software features or products.
We do not guarantee that every product, feature, operating system version, file format, or third-party service will remain supported indefinitely.
8. Third-Party Platforms
Hammer software may be distributed through third-party platforms such as the Microsoft Store.
Purchases, downloads, account services, payments, refunds, and other activities performed through third-party platforms may also be governed by the terms and policies of those platforms.
9. Intellectual Property
Hammer Digital Works software, branding, graphics, website content, and related materials are owned by Hammer Digital Works or used with permission, except where otherwise indicated.
Use of Hammer software does not transfer ownership of Hammer Digital Works trademarks, branding, software, or other intellectual property.
10. No Guarantee of Specific Results
Hammer Digital Works strives to create reliable and useful software, but software behavior can depend on operating systems, hardware, file formats, security products, third-party software, configuration, and other factors outside our control.
We do not guarantee that Hammer software will meet every requirement, operate without interruption, or produce a particular result in every environment.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hammer software and website content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hammer Digital Works will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use or inability to use Hammer software or this website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. Changes to These Terms
Hammer Digital Works may update these Terms as products, services, or business practices change.
